I am thinking of switching my weekly TOT-PAD-TOT commute (up monday back tuesday) to use IVY instead - having spotted the new 0908 service. Is parking at IVY free? Is it safe to leave cars overnight - any known problems with vandalism? many thanks.

Please see the below email sent to South Hams district council and the response received. Please could I ask that the roads in and around the car park at Ivybridge station are salt gritted in cold weather? Please see the attached photograph. Due to the gradient of the road within the car park trying to access a parking space is treacherous to say the least. If the car park was gritted it would be more accessible to residents from Ivybridge trying to get to work and may even boost numbers due to those unable to drive longer distances to work due to road safety.
